About Pastor Purna K Rai

Pastor Purna K Rai was born on January 1st, 1989, in Gelephu Bhutan. Purna and his family were forced to leave Bhutan when he was around a year old. They relocated to Nepal, where they spent over 20 years living as refugees. He lived with his 2 brothers and his parents. He got married to his dear wife Sara in 2010. Almost 10 years of marriage they had a miraculous baby named Jemimah.

2012 Pastor Purna and his family move to American, expecting his family to lead better lives. Pastor Purna Rai was raised in Hindu household. They were adamant about their religions and beliefs. He was the first house member to become a Christian.  efore he was chosen by God, his lifestyle in the village was depressed. He was alcoholic, drug addict, smoker, and was in death bed. He was a mess, yet God saved him. His brokenness was healed. He was changed by God into a new person and was chosen to serve the one and only God.

In 2011, Pastor purna Rai and his wife Sara rededicated their life to Christ and the ministry. For many years Pastor Purna was an elder in Bhutanese Nepali Church of Harrisburg. He sensed a divine calling in 2017 to lead his own ministry.  Purna is currently a lead pastor in Emmanuel Nepalese Church of Harrisburg. He is a general secretary in Harrisburg Nepali Christian society and join secretary in Bhutanese Nepali Churches of America.
